Flight Carbon Footprint Calculator

FlightCC is a free customisable carbon calculator for passengers travelling by plane.

The Flight Carbon Calculator calculates the carbon emissions associated with an average passenger load for a journey by plane between two airports.

This data can then be used to see the carbon impact for the flight, offset the emissions associated, or to compare different methods of transport.

Adding to your site

It is really easy to embed the Flight Carbon Calculator into your site or blog.

Simply Choose the theme you want, and the comparaison metric, and then copy and paste the code straight into your website.

Approved Data
Data for the calculations are approved from Defra, the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs.

The flight calculation is based on emissions per passenger (for one passenger) with an average plane load.

All the calculations performed within the Flight Carbon Calculator are powered by the Carbon Calculated API

The calculations are available via the Carbon Calculated data browser a free and open front-facing website to view the data within the data API.
Customisation
FlightCC is customisable by theme and by question. You can choose from a selection of themes, or contact us to have your own theme.

You can also choose to use different comparison metrics for the emissions, such as vehicle journeys or footprint of a can of cola.
